Translation Quality AssuredIn order to guarantee the quality of your translated assignment, we have incorporated quality checks at each stage of the translation process. Although quality and accurate translations lie at the heart of the professional translator´s training and further education and formulate the fundamental basis of their qualification and professional competence, Prime Languages, nevertheless, demands that each of our translators adhere to our strict Translation Quality Assurance. Professional Translator RatesRates of pay differ greatly from one country to the next. The majority of our professional translators are in-country meaning that they reside within their mother-tongue country. We endeavor to provide all of our translators with the rate of pay that they stipulate regardless of the country they are operating from yet simultaneously bearing in mind the standard rate of that particular country. We are able to do so and actively regulate this by giving each and every one of our translators the freedom to state their ´Going-Rate´ as well as their ´Desired-Rate´ right from the beginning of their relationship with Prime Languages at the the application stage via our website. Ethical StandardsPrime Languages is fundamentally a celebration of the diverse and versatile human race. We like to merit the brilliance of our own race and will ONLY accept assignments that we view to be ethically correct. Prime Languages reserves the right to refuse work which it considers to be of a libelous, obscene, blasphemous, illegal, derogatory, or otherwise of unsuitable nature. Translation is a time consuming process and we are not prepared to put our translators in a position where they are compromising their own ethical standards for the sake of work. Therefore we cary out such ethical filtration ourselves before the acceptance of assignments that may cause such consequences. Language EvolutionLanguage is an evolving entity and a professional translator who spends a prolonged period of time outside their mother tongue country is not up to date with the latest advances that the language has undergone. From official vocabulary to commercial slang, new words, terms and phrases are being coined continuously. Hence, where appropriate in-country translators are always called upon for translation assignments, as translators residing outside their country may not be suitable for translating for the target audience. The sole exception to this is when the target audience reside as a community in a foreign land, in which case a professional translator from that community´s country of residence is selected for the assignment.
